At CROSS Fine Jewellery we specialize in the restoration and repair of precious jewellery. From simple breaks and resizing to the more complex rebuilding of worn areas in and around settings or links in necklaces and bracelets. The re-tipping of worn claws, the re-shanking of worn bands or the total remaking of various parts of jewellery to its former condition is our speciality. Matching and replacement of precious gems and the recutting or repolishing of damaged Diamonds, Rubies, Emeralds, Sapphires, Opals etc is all part of the service offered.
Re-designing and re-modelling existing jewellery into more contemporary styles is another service CROSS Fine Jewellery has been offering clients for many years.
" Why leave older styles or worn jewellery lying around never to be worn when they can be restored, re-designed or remodelled into pieces to be proud of. "
The Custom Design of Jewellery has been a fundamental element of CROSS Fine Jewellery since the business began.
Clients are encouraged to discuss personal design requirements for their special piece. Sketches, images and ideas are all considered in the development of a design concept.
The experience of CROSS is used as a guide in design creation to ensure quality is not compromised.
On some occasions models or 3D sketches of the jewellery design are developed for final consideration prior to the actual crafting of the piece.
Finally, collections of Gems to be included are shown and discussed with clients as part of the final selection process.
Quotes are prepared prior to commencement and often designs are created with consideration to a client’s budget.
" The custom design process is an exciting element of our business. It differentiates us from the Chain Store offering and truly positions our clients as individual thinkers and people that know what they like. You could say our clients truly have their own signature piece of fine jewellery. "
